ANTHRAX Bassist FRANK BELLO On New METALLICA Music - “Put That Into The Market And It Makes People Open Up And Listen To Metal... That's Really Important For All Of Us, It Trickles Down”

Anthrax were guests on The Strombo Show last night, in an intimate conversation with George Stroumboulopoulos to celebrate their new album, For All Kings.
“On Sunday night's episode, we shared the conversation where they admit that they're not able to connect with new metal, love Iron Maiden, embrace Rival Sons, share stories behind Bring The Noize, mention that they called Prophets Of Rage before it happened, tell the story of seeing RATM at an early basement show and share their thoughts on the new Metallica.”
On the new Metallica music, Scott Ian states: ”I really dig the vibe. For me, it's weird cause anything I say might be taken the wrong way - I love the direction and I cannot wait to hear the rest..."
"Any Metallica is great for all of us”, says Frank Bello. “Put that into the market and it makes people open up and listen to metal. That's really important for all of us. It trickles down."

In February 2017, Anthrax will be back on UK soil for their first full UK headline tour in over a decade. These UK dates will see the band perform their classic 1987 album Among The Living in its entirety alongside fan favourites.
Scott Ian commented: "Finally! We've been looking forward to headlining in the UK for so long! We have a killer set planned, new stuff, old faves, deep tracks and Among front to back. You'd better start getting in shape now for the epic wardance!! See you soon my friends.”
These special shows will mark 30 years of the iconic album, with support from up and coming British metallers, The Raven Age.
