AUDIOTOPSY Featuring MUDVAYNE, SKRAPE Members Release “The Calling” Music Video

Audiotopsy, the powerhouse new band featuring guitarist Greg Tribbett (Mudvayne, Hellyeah), drummer Matt McDonough (Mudvayne), vocalist Billy Keeton (Skrape) and bassist Perry Stern, released their debut album, Natural Causes, on October 2nd via Napalm.

Today the band are stoked to debut their first ever video for the song "The Calling". The video was filmed on location in Orlando, FL and directed by David Brodsky of My Good Eye NYC.

Vocalist Billy Keeton comments on the new video: "This video was so cool to make!! David Brodsky totally nailed it. We took a concept and ran with it, bringing home the essence of the song, all while my son made his acting debut! This is the video I always wanted to make."

Director David Brodsky adds: "It was a real pleasure working with the guys in Audiotopsy on this video. It's always great, as a director, to work with a band that has a real vision for what they want to do, and are willing to work hard to help my partner Allie and I realize that vision alongside them. I look forward to working with these talented gentlemen again in the future!"

Self-produced at The Porch Studio in Orlando, Florida with engineer Tim Laud, the guys maintained their singular perspective with Natural Causes. "The focus was to write solid, hooky, big riff songs," declares Greg. "We didn't want to sound or look like every other band. It's not supposed to be regular. We're all building this vision together."

Merging intricate instrumentation with a seamless knack for melody, they conjured up a style as heavy as it is hypnotic. "We got a vibe going", states Greg. “You could call it progressive hard rock."

Album opener "Headshot" (streaming below) pairs a slithering riff and steamrolling percussion with an anthemic punch. "It's from the point-of-view or the eyes of, not necessarily a soldier, but anybody who's in battle and in the trenches", states Billy. "Metaphorically speaking, it's life through the eyes of somebody fighting a battle."

With extensive tour plans in the works, it will undoubtedly be a very busy remaining 2015 and beyond for Audiotopsy.  For now, they urge you to simply close your eyes, open your mind, and let Natural Causes do the talking for them.
