AUGUST BURNS RED – Found In Far Away Places Hits Billboard Top 10

Lancaster PA's August Burns Red has charged into the release of new album Found In Far Away Places with their best first week to date, debuting at #4 on the Top Albums Chart, #9 on the Billboard Top 200, #1 Rock Album, #1 Independent Album, and is still holding down the #1 spot on the iTunes Metal Chart, selling over 29,000 copies.
Guitarist JB Brubaker adds, "We are pumped on how overwhelmingly positive the response to Found In Far Away Places has been. It's always a little nerve wracking to release new material and I'm so grateful that we have listeners who are willing to grow and evolve with this band."

Lead vocalist Jake Luhrs is nominated for the Artist Philanthropic Award for his non-profit Heart Support, and Matt Greiner is on the ballot for Best Drummer. The APMAs will take place at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH on July 22.
The band is currently shaking up the Main Stage of the Vans Warped Tour for the summer and will head into the fall with a European/UK tour with Asking Alexandria, Memphis May Fire, and In Hearts Wake. Full tour routing listed below.
