January 30, 2015, 9 years ago
Longtime Equal Vision Records’ band Bane has announced several upcoming tour dates throughout the US, Asia, and Europe/UK. The band is currently touring in support of their fourth and final full-length album, Don't Wait Up, which was released on May 13th, 2014.
Don't Wait Up was recorded in Haverhill, MA with producer Jay Maas (Defeater, Bane).
Bane has just wrapped up a short East Coast run, and is now preparing to head overseas to Asia. The upcoming tour, which will bring the band through the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and China, will be the band's final tour in Asia. Official announcements of which tours will be the band's final run in each region will always be made by the band in advance.
Soon after returning to the States, Bane will headline a full US tour with support from Backtrack and Malfunction, followed by a European / UK run supporting Comeback Kid.
The bittersweet final album, and forthcoming disbanding, comes nearly twenty years after Bane’s first release, which led the band on countless tours and earned them widespread respect for being one of the hardest working bands in the business. Since their inception in 1995, Bane has toured all across the world countless times and has released three full-length albums: 1999’s It All Comes Down To This, 2001’s Give Blood, and 2005’s The Note, in addition to several 7”, EP and compilation releases.
