Bassist MAGNUS ROSÉN - Former BLACK SABBATH, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Members To Guest On New Solo Album

Swedish bass player Magnus Rosén (Shadowside, Hammerfall) has revealed that former Black Sabbath singer Tony Martin and former Yngwie Malmsteen and HammerFall drummer Anders Johansson are guests on his new solo album, The World Changes, due out via Brazilian label Furia Music Records on July 8th.

A release gala lunch party on June 17th, at the refined restaurant of Gothia Towers Hotel in Gothenburg, Sweden. On the occasion, Rosén will be accompanied by friends, celebrities and local authorities.

The World Changes is mostly instrumental and shows the versatility of the Swedish musician in an atmosphere outside heavy metal, a genre that brought him worldwide success, a Swedish Grammy nomination and golden records. This new material brings the listeners to an erudite ambiance with the Nordic melancholy in a work filled with expression and sophistication. The songs are interpreted by a quartet of great names of Swedish music such as George Keczán (grand piano), Johan Stengård (saxophone), Carolina Sandgren (vocals) besides Magnus Rosén himself (bass). The CD also brings special appearances from other renowned musicians that will be announced soon.

Check out the The World Changes album cover and tracklisting below:

Rosén, who has recently been on a promotional tour of his solo album in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, is currently recording the new Shadowside album. The album will feature the collaboration of Andy La Rocque (King Diamond) in the writing of two songs; and in charge of the production is Fredrik Nordström (Arch Enemy, Evergrey, Hammerfall), the same producer of their latest album Inner Monster Out.
