BEARTOOTH - Aggressive Chart Positions Revealed

Beartooth released their new album, Aggressive, on June 3rd via Red Bull Records. The album has made an impact across global charts this week. The release debuted at #1 on the Billboard Alternative Chart, their first #1 on any Billboard chart. It opened strongly across other Billboard Charts, as well: coming in at #2 on the Indie Label Chart, the #3 Rock Album, the #13 Digital Album and #25 on the Top 200 Chart.

Aggressive has charted internationally as well, grabbing the #2 spot on the Rock & Metal Chart and the #5 spot on the Indie Album Chart in the UK, hitting #2 on the Hard Music Chart and #13 on the Top Albums Chart in Canada and #18 on the Overall Album Chart in Australia.

In the two short years since their debut album was cooked up in front man Caleb Shomo’s basement, Beartooth has catapulted into heavy music’s stratosphere. They have collected over 10 million views on YouTube, trekked around the globe sharing the stage with Slipknot, Pierce The Veil, Bring Me The Horizon and Sleeping With Sirens and playing festivals like Reading & Leeds, Download and the Vans Warped Tour.

For Aggressive, Shomo again retreated to his home studio to write, perform and produce the album’s 12 tracks, re-teaming with John Feldmann (The Used, Blink-182) for a bit of songwriting contribution and enlisting David Bendeth (Killswitch Engage, Paramore) to mix the release. The resulting songs have as much in common with stomping metalcore as old-school punk, vintage screamo and harder-edged pop punk, combining circle pit-inducing bangers with soaring choruses and bridging raw authentic intensity with accessibility.
