Swedish born producer/artist, Big Swede, has a new rock project entitled Refurbished, who released a new album, Only Want The Best, back on September 23rd. Only Want The Best includes 13 tracks in a full throttle, straight ahead rock vein.

“I wanted to give people a glimpse into the process of making the album and at the same time give them an introduction to the project,” says Big Swede. “It was great that we were able to put together this video, showing the wide spectrum of personalities performing on the record. It was a blast having each and every one of them coming by and recording their parts. There was a lot of great energy in the studio.”

“It’s been a long time coming for me to release a rock record. I started with inviting a few of my friends and it ended up being 17 guests when it was all recorded. I’m thrilled to have this group of musicians on this record. I was choosing the guests for each track as I went along. The mixture of players on certain tracks are quite interesting,” says Big Swede.

Big Swede continues: “I really enjoyed writing and recording a whole guitar-based rock record. It was great to see each track take shape as the musicians came by my studio on an ongoing basis. We had a lot of laughs during these sessions."
