BILLY IDOL Discusses Writing Challenges; Video Interview Online

Rocker Billy Idol recently released his long-awaited autobiography, Dancing With Myself.

In a new video interview with Associated Press, Idol discusses how the punk rock spirit inspired him to to write his autobiography without the help of a ghostwriter.

Billy Idol made an appearance recently on CBS talk show, The Talk. Billy discusses his new album, Kings And Queens Of The Underground, and shares details about his autobiography:

Billy Idol released Kings & Queens Of The Underground, his first new album in almost a decade, on October 21st. The album is released on Idol's own BFI Records, via Kobalt Label Services.

Billy has partnered with Billboard.com to premiere the first episode of the behind-the-scenes web series for the new album. Watch the revealing Billy Idol - Kings & Queens Of The Underground - Episode #1, below:

Kings & Queens Of The Underground was primarily produced by Trevor Horn, with Greg Kurstin also contributing as a producer to two songs, including the anthemic lead single, “Can’t Break Me Down”.

The artwork for Kings & Queens Of The Underground was designed by street artist and graphic designer Shepard Fairey.

"Can't Break Me Down":

Idol and his band, including longtime collaborator and guitarist Steve Stevens, will launch a European Tour in November, the first of several legs of a World Tour that will continue into 2015.

Idol will embark on a theatre tour of the US and Canada in January and February of 2015. The North American tour, which begins January 21st in New Orleans, is the latest leg of Idol's Kings & Queens Of The Underground Live world tour that includes previously announced shows in Europe in November 2014.

Oklahoma’s Broncho, who recently released their new album, Just Enough Hip To Be Woman, will appear as special guest on all shows.
