BILLY MORRISON Begins Work On Solo Album

Guitarist Billy Morrison (Billy Idol, Circus Diablo, The Royal Machines) has begun "recording potential material for a new solo record - who knows, but I certainly can't put one out if I sit around thinking about it and not actually recording it, right? So I'm getting together with (drummer) Erik Eldenius for a few days and seeing if this whacky idea I have has any legs."

Mere hours after posting his initial announcement, Morrison checked in with the following update: "Just finished watching Erik Eldenius lay down drums for my cover of the Gary Numan track 'You Are In My Vision' - it's gonna be a monster!"

In other news, there are only "two days left to bid on this fabulous portrait of me (pictured below) by Greg Hutting - every cent will go to help Nick Marsh of Flesh For Lulu who is battling Cancer in the UK. You can read all the details here. Currently the highest bid is a healthy $1300 so if you want to get your hands on this one-off portrait, email your bid to info@billymorrisonart.com - and thank you all."
