eOne artists Black Crown Initiate and Black Fast are teaming up to embark on the Blacker Than All Tours tour this March as they make their way to the annual SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. "We are excited to share the stage with our label mates Black Fast on this small tour to SXSW," says BCI guitarist Andy Thomas. "We are going to be playing some new material off our upcoming album, drinking beers and eating plenty of BBQ on this tour. See you on the road!"

Black Crown Initiate has just wrapped production on their yet to be titled new album which will be released later this year. The new LP will be the band's follow up to The Wreckage Of Stars, released in 2014.

Black Fast released their LP Terms Of Surrender last year with a vengeance. Ripping pages from Death's technical death metal guidebook, the St. Louis foursome conjures the spirit of the late, great Chuck Schuldiner while channeling the viciousness of Megadeth's young-and-hungry Dave Mustaine and blistering aggression of Kreator’s Mille Petrozza.The band tapped veteran producer Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, Six Feet Under, Goatwhore, Cannibal Corpse) to helm their debut LP for eOne Music; Rutan was an easy choice.

Creating a modern twist on the energetic riffs of metal’s glory days, Black Fast harness the spirit of their metal forefathers, whether exploring hand-cramp-inducing riffs or blazing through straightforward thrash. Black Fast songs have a hungry ferocity reminiscent of the Bay Area thrash scene, the likes of which haven’t been this raw or hyper-charged in decades. 

Rivers Of Nihil are about to hit the road with Black Fast and Dark Sermon as support.
