Black Metal From The End Of The World Documentary - New Teaser Video Coming Soon
An update on the upcoming documentary about the Argentine black metal scene, directed by Victoria Pelejero (Kara Darahu - The Anguish Of The Black), reads as follows:

“We are currently starting to work on a teaser (slowly... very slowly, haha) so you people can have a look at some images and know some of our bands. The soundtrack for the teaser is being written by Samuli T. Mäkelä, from the extreme metal band from Finland, Kara Darahu, and the voice will be recorded by Julia Mattila from Seele. Samuli has collaborated with the Slovakian band, Snovonne, amongst other projects. The first versions of the song sound really good, but I must warn you, it is not black metal. Actually I have chosen a non black metal female singer to put voice, because of aesthetic reasons. The whole movie incidental music, the teaser and the trailer, will have amazing music, dark, deep, and with a twist of irony, but the black metal will be put by the bands we interview.” - Victoria Pelejero

The film, due later in 2016, will be produced by Victoria Pelejero/Laura Alvarez Natale and Associate Producer, Christian Falch (Black Hearts).

Plot Outline: Black Metal From The End Of The World is a set of portraits of musicians and followers of black metal in Latin America, and specifically Argentina. Satanism, Nordic culture and religion, return to Paganism and the rejection of Imperialism; all these elements together conform a spiritual and idiological research through the most extreme form of metal.

It is not a guetto picture, but the starting point to a universal questioning in which we all can feel related; our own path to discover our true selves, in first place, and then, the process of cultural identity of masses, specially in times of technological acculturation.

The film will feature interviews with Nagash (The Kovenant, Troll, ex-Dimmu Borgir), Jorn Tunsberg (Hades, ex-Immortal), Wulfshon, Vitiko Blasphemer (Blasphemer), Black Mausoleum, Ancestrum, author Krissthor, Astaroth, Arvas, Raseri, Kirkegrill, Sarkom, Svadilfare, Svarttjern, Whip, Vithr, Skygge, and more.
