Melechesh keeps his Middle Eastern roots burning with this new slab of roasting death/black/folk metal from the insightful mainman Ashmedi. The band used studios in Germany, Greece, and the US to produce Enki and out came this masterwork.

“Opening with a swirling whirlwind of his traditional rhythms, ‘Tempest Temper Enlil Enraged’ lays the foundation for what's to follow: nine vicious slices of black metal (never forsaking tonality), with a couple of guests,” says BraveWords scribe Mark Gromen. Gromen goes to praise Melechesh’s “unique brand of aggressive, albeit tuneful, black metal” and it’s easy to be a supporter of Ashmedi because he’s “fun-loving” and “insightful.”
