BRET MICHAELS Hopes POISON Can Announce “Something Really Awesome” Soon

Speaking to AZCentral, Bret Michaels teased a possible announcement regarding Poison.
"Every other year," he says, "we're out with the all-original lineup and it's always out in the arenas and amphitheaters, having an amazing time. It'll be great and hopefully we'll get to announce something really awesome coming up in the next month or so."
Asked how doing Poison tours compares to touring as a solo artist, Michaels says, "Honestly? I love doing both, and I think being out with Poison again, it’s who I grew up with. They’re still my great friends. We go out and have a blast. And then being able to do the solo stuff just allows me to continuously write new music and add it in. When we play Talking Stick, we’ll play all the Poison hits, a few different twists on some of them. And then with the rest of it, I get to throw in the new songs like ‘Unbroken’, and the songs from Rock of Love. And it's a pretty amazing feeling to be able to do both seamlessly."
The first in a series, Bret Michaels’ Pictures & Stories Volume 1 will be available in early 2020.
