BUCK & EVANS Mark Single Launch With WHITESNAKE Legend BERNIE MARSDEN

In the wake of the success of their sold out Newbridge Memo EP launch (when they became the first band ever to play the Memo's 100 year old theatre), hotly-tipped Welsh rock and soul quartet Buck & Evans have unveiled their new single, “Slow Train”.

Buck & Evans will mark the single’s first live airing at a gig in London on November 6th at the historic Half Moon, Putney (following in the footsteps of U2, Kate Bush, The Who and the Rolling Stones, to name but a few) with very special guest, Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden.

With Whitesnake, Marsden penned such classics as “Here I Go Again” and “Fool For Your Loving”, and now tours with his own band, recently having appeared at the inaugural Ramblin’ Man Fair in Kent, alongside Buck & Evans.

“We’re thrilled to be celebrating our single launch in such esteemed company”, says B&E guitarist Chris Buck. "Bernie’s an incredible musician and one of a kind. To have him join us is an honour; a living legend in every sense!”

Due to overwhelming demand, a return 49 seat coach has also been arranged to travel from Ebbw Vale to London to attend the gig with a combined ticket/transport package now available to purchase through the band’s website, buckandevans.com. As a thank you for their support the band will give away a free Slow Train CD single, complete with an acoustic track recorded exclusively for those traveling from South Wales on the coach.

Tickets are £10 and are available from the Half Moon’s website. More details here.
