Canada punk metal perpetrators, Cancer Bats, will kick off a short sprint of North American dates supporting Danzig and Pennywise this weekend. Set to commence tomorrow, July 11 in Pomona, California, the tour will wind its way through fifteen cities in eleven states and provinces, coming to a close on July 31 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additionally, the band will take part in this year's Gwar B-Q in Richmond, Virginia in August.

In related Cancer Bats news, Canadian website PureGrainAudio.com recently released Zeroed In, its first-ever mini documentary. The site teamed with Cancer Bats and The Visual Medium to cover in detail the release Searching For Zero, plus the album release show held at The Phoenix Concert Theatre last March. Through extensive fan-interviews at the release show, plus a frank discussion with the Cancer Bats, the twenty-minute Zeroed In documentary sets out to not only explore the intricacies behind Searching For Zero but to also demonstrate the impact and influence the group continues to have on the local scene, fans and bands alike.

Cancer Bats recently released a brand new video for "Beelzebub" from their Searching For Zero full-length, which can be seen below. 

Vocalist Liam Cormier comments: "We're so excited to be heading out with Danzig and Pennywise. Both bands have been our favorites since we first got into punk and metal so to have a chance to tour with both is like a dream come true! We'll be ripping the pit and headbanging until we puke every night!"
