Metal Wani recently had a chat with Carcass axeman Bill Steer in Phoenix, Arizona.

In the video below, Bill discusses the current tour with Crowbar, Ghoul and Night Demon, demand from fans to see the band live even though its been three years since Surgical Steel came out, opening for Slayer and Testament earlier this year and writing songs keeping the expectations in mind. Bill also throws light on return to the scene after decade of absence, having similar pool of influences as other members, using cellphones at shows, and another US tour later this year before they start working on a new album.

Earache Records reissued Carcass’ 2004 compilation album, Choice Cuts, on limited edition vinyl on July 22nd. The album is available on Rotting Green (300 copies) and Blood Red (300 copies) vinyl. A video trailer can be seen below.
