Carnal Agony will release their debut album, Preludes & Nocturnes, on November 14th via Sliptrick Records. The band's first video will be released on the same day.
Drawing influences from the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden, Mercyful Fate, In Flames and Testament, and devoted to classic literature such as HP Lovecraft, John Milton and Edgar Allan Poe (often inspiring their lyrics), Carnal Agony are the latest sensation in the Scandinavian metal scene with their incendiary blend of pounding thrash metal, memorable melodies and meaningful lyrics.
Umeå-based Carnal Agony is currently producing their album at Studio Seven with producer Ronny Milianowicz (Primal Fear, Amon Amarth, Jorn). Current drummer for this album is world famous heavy drummer Uli Kusch (formerly of Helloween, Gamma Ray, Holy Moses, Masterplan and many others).
