CHRIS CAFFERY - New Solo Song "I Never Knew" Inspired By 9-11

Guitarist/vocalist Chris Caffery (Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) is currently working on a new solo album, due for release later this year. He has checked in with another studio update:

"First day of final mixes for my new record, Your Heaven Is Real. This picture is what you work all these months for, Bouncing to Disk!"

"The first song I mixed was 'I Never Knew'. This song really hits me hard especially since I wrote it about 9-11, even before I met my girl. Her father was killed that terrible day in the towers. I added some extra lyrics and parts when I did the final version. Completely inspired by the emotions I feel when I speak to her about that incredibly sad day in history.

"Hand and hand together, searching for a heart beat. Some never got the chance to say goodbye remember..."

The tentative tracklisting for Your Heaven Is Real is as listed:

"Your Heaven Is Real"
"Just Fine"
"Sick And Tired"
"I Never Knew"
"Too Soon To Be Too Late"
"Arm And A Leg"
"Death By Design"
"Hot Wheelz" (instrumental)

"Why"
"Damned If You Do, Dead If You Don't"
"My Light"
"2-26-15" (instrumental)

"Over And Over"
"Come Home"

Caffery recently commented on Savatage's upcoming reunion show at the Wacken Open Air:

"Savatage will close the festival that night following TSO's first ever European festival appearance. I have been waiting for them to announce this for weeks. It was hard to keep it a secret! Yes, legion, our patience has finally paid off..."
