Armageddon, led by former Arch Enemy guitarist Christopher Amott, have announced that Antony Hämäläinen (ex-Nightrage) has accepted the position as full-time vocalist. Armageddon parted ways with singer Matt Hallquist back in December.
Says the band: “We are looking forward to working with him as he brings great energy to the band, both on and off stage. Watch this space for upcoming Armageddon tour dates! See you soon…”
Armageddon’s new album Captivity & Devourment, was released worldwide on January 26th via Listenable Records, and consists of ten awe-inspiring and ingeniously crafted songs, full of devastating riffs, soaring guitar leads and fist pumping choruses. Heavy, melodic, technical, and groovy: this is creative metal songwriting with one foot in deep in the classics and and one eye gazing towards the distant future.
