CRIPPER Premiers “A Dime For The Establishment” Music Video
November 11, 2015, 8 years ago
Thrash artillerists Cripper have launched a new video for the track "A Dime For The Establishment", taken from their latest album, Hyena.
In the video, the five villains comprising the band come under fire with their hostage during a neck-breaking escape by car, in which they encounter zombies, agents, hillbillies, and gangsters. Shot at 10 different locations with various sets and actors, plus a professional camera crew, "A Dime For The Establishment" was directed by Cripper's own guitarist, Jonathan Stenger (who also handled post-production and editing).
The band comments: "These were days full of action, an exciting film set feeling... and of course, things went pear-shaped during some of those wild explosions. We're all still alive - notwithstanding the highly dangerous realization of the crazy storyboard. We had a lot of fun, which we hope the clip can convey. Bang, bang!"
Cripper is currently working on their fifth studio album, and follow-up to 2014's Hyena.
Cripper lineup:
Britta Gortz - vocals
Christian Brohenhorst - guitars
Jonathan Stenger - guitars
Gerrit Mohrmann - bass
Dennis Weber - drums
