DARKOLOGY Leak Songs From Upcoming Album; Lineup Changes For OVERKILL Tour Announced

Texas/Ohio metal merchants Darkology, featuring featuring Michael Harris (Thought Chamber, Arch Rival, Leather, VS Chastain) on guitar and brother Brian Harris (Firewind, Solstice) on drums, along with internationally acclaimed vocalist Kelly Sundown Carpenter (Outworld, Beyond Twilight, Epysode) and bassist Mike Neal (Medieval Steel, Salems Lot), have a few announcements for you, in light of their upcoming Killfest ‘14 performances throughout Europe with Overkill, Prong and Enforcer.

"Firstly, here are two full new songs “leaked” from our new album, Fated To Burn, that unfortunately got delayed, as well as some older “samples”.

“Kill Me If You Can” (full):

“Beyond The Grave” (full):

"Fated To Burn" (long sample/pre-master):

Highlights from all songs on the album:

"The new album will now be released in January 2015. In the meantime on tour you will be able to get our debut on LP/CD! T-shirts, hats, beanies, even a tour program (!?) and a special Tour edition EP/CD specially commissioned for this tour that includes quite a few songs from the new album, (reflecting a probable setlist) which leaving quite “a bit”, to the imagination. It serves just an appetizer for the release of the full album and as a crash course in Darkology!

Further to that and because of scheduling conflicts and a variety of other issues we had to make some lineup changes for the tour. We’ve actually had the misfortune of receiving the news from Kelly that due to personal issues, he would be unable to join us for this run, which was probably the biggest hit we could ever had and almost had the band pulling from the tour, but we thought that it was too late to do that and decided to see if we could somehow, make things work.

But how do you replace, a guy with such GODLY vocals?! Well, we reached out to some of the best vocalists we could think of, including a handful of quite famous ones. There were several that were very gracious and we almost ended up agreeing to work with a few, but then our roadie, who is a singer by trade, remembered that he had heard this amazing singer on you tube covering some Helloween and Judas Priest and we thought, what the hell, let's try him out too... once we got his demos back, it was only a matter of just mailing him back to tell him to pack his bags and meet us in Barcelona for some practices !

Hear for yourselves really, a side by side comparison of some of the hardest, highest, most difficult to sing, songs from Darkology's debut:

Original "Violent Vertigo" featuring Kelly from Altered Reflections:

"Violent Vertigo"/Re-sung 2014 Home Demo Recording:

Original "Nobot featuring KSC from Altered Reflections 2009:

Re-sung Home Demo of "Nobot" 2014:

"We would thus like to announce that joining us on this tour as a vocalist would be this rather phenomenal vocalist, Eugent Bushpepa, who's been very kind to step in and help us out of this quite messy situation. He's been nothing but gracious so far and we 're looking forward to offering with his aid, a show that you 'll not easily forget!

"Also joining us on bass duties will be J.T. Longoria who's previously played with (and produced) the legendary King Diamond, and also both Izzy Stradlin and Adler's Appetite from Guns ‘N Roses. He also co-produced Darkology’s amazing debut, Altered Reflections, so he's no “stranger” to the band. With the aid of these fine gentlemen, we've prepared a really spectacular show that will BE SCORCHING, HOT ROCKING METAL!
