Bay Area thrash legends, Death Angel, have checked in with the following update on October 7th:

"Exactly eight weeks ago to the day we wrapped up our European Summer Tour - the last for The Dream Calls for Blood album cycle - and flew home to begin the final phase of writing and pre production for our next album. Last night we concluded that process at DA Studio and are ready to head to Sanford, FL to record our new songs. Rob (cavestany/guitars) flies out tomorrow to do a few days of post pre pro pre production with Jason Suecof at AudioHammer Studios before Will shows up on Monday to start hammering out tracks. Good times (and LOTS more work) ahead! Keep y'all updated."

A thrashumentary was directed, shot and edited by Tommy Jones (Kataklysm, Soilwork, Lamb Of God, Carcass, Testament) of Videohammer Studios. It was released on July 24th via Nuclear Blast Records. The release includes a bonus full live album, The Bay Calls For Blood – Live In San Francisco.

The Bay Calls For Blood – Live In San Francisco is also available on LP exclusively through Nuclear Blast. The release is also available in the digital format. Artwork for the LP version was created by Joey James Hernandez.
