The Third Annual Metal Against Cancer Benefit Show has been confirmed for February 28th, 2015 at the 120 Tavern & Music Hall in Marietta, GA.

Headlined this year by Bay Area Thrash legends Death Angel, along with direct support from Atlanta’s own Halcyon Way, the event will raise proceeds for the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that donates all of its funds to cancer patients who have financial hardship during the course of their treatment.

Examples of how the funds have been used are to pay a patient’s rent when they lost their job due to their illness, paying for auto repairs or other unexpected costs, paying for health insurance, and the like.

Halcyon Way guitarist and promoter Jon Bodan comments:

“As a cancer survivor, I saw firsthand how the cost of treatment and the inability to work during that time can affect a family, so I’m very excited to be able to give back a little bit by putting on this event. Now that Death Angel have signed on for this year’s show, it’s going to be better than ever and a good time for all, for a good cause.”

The full event lineup is as follows:

General Admission, as well as VIP tickets with a meet & greet, are available. For more information on the event, to purchase tickets, or to become a corporate sponsor, visit MetalAgainstCancer.com, the official event Facebook page, and the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation.

The Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported by generous donations from Atlanta Cancer Care physicians, staff, patients and their families, as well as unaffiliated organizations and individuals. The mission of the Foundation is to provide:

• Financial assistance to those financially challenged by cancer

• funding for professional and public education regarding cancer related issues

• funding for cancer research

All proceeds from the show will go to the foundation.
