DECEASED Announce Classic Album Release Through Transcending Obscurity Classics; Three Reissues Coming From New Sub-Label

After Greek death/crust band Abyssus‘ Once Entombed release earlier this year, the second release on the sub-label Transcending Obscurity Classics is of the US death/thrash metal band Deceased‘s much-acclaimed and frankly unforgettable zombie-themed album, Fearless Undead Machines. Originally released by Relapse Records almost two decades earlier, the album will be given a reissue treatment and has a new T-shirt artwork by Mark Riddick to go with it - this, while the original album artwork and sound will remain untouched to preserve the classic sound. The band insisted on it. This is the first out of the three Deceased reissues that will come out on the new sub-label based in India.

Transcending Obscurity owner/editor says about the deal, “It’s a dream come true to work with one of my favourite bands, especially to reissue the classic albums that I grew up listening to. Fearless Undead Machines was one of the first CDs that I’d purchased in the late ’90s and till this date it remains not only my favourite Deceased album, but also one of my favourite metal albums overall. King’s a legend, an honest man, and his support in this endeavour, to reissue not one but three of his classics, means a lot. While the original artwork will be kept intact, Mark Riddick has made a specially commissioned T-shirt artwork to go with this epic release.”

Deceased‘s vocalist/drummer King Fowley adds, “We are happy to be rocking with Kunal. He seems a good Joe who works hard and that’s very important to me. We’re gonna spread cadaver fun the world over. Keep an eye out!!! We’re gonna re-release at least 3 titles from our past with Kunal/Transcending Obscurity Classics and let others that missed the death metal from the grave stench first go round get a shot to whiff it all up.”

The original artwork and sound have been retained on this official reissue authorized by King Fowley, and contains special liner notes and pictures that weren't present in the first pressing. Experience an unforgettable classic in its original glory all over again.
