DEEP PURPLE, CHEAP TRICK, YES, NINE INCH NAILS Among Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 2016 Nominees

The nominations for the 2016 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame have been announced and the list includes heavy rock hopefuls Deep Purple, Cheap Trick and Yes, alongside the Cars, Chaka Khan, Chic, Chicago, Janet Jackson, The J.B.'s, Los Lobos, Steve Miller, N.W.A, Nine Inch Nails, the Smiths and the Spinners.
For the fourth consecutive year, fans are being asked to vote for the top five nominees who should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. The fan votes will comprise a fans’ ballot that will be tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2016 inductees to be announced in December. The public will have the opportunity to vote alongside the more than 800 artists, historians and music industry insiders of the Rock Hall voting body.

The 2016 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame nominees will be announced in December and inducted next April at a ceremony in New York. HBO will broadcast the ceremony later in the year.
