In a newly uploaded video to Deep Purple’s official YouTube channel, late keyboardist Jon Lord talks about his departure from the band and how he and Don Airey were able to make it a momentous occasion.
Says Lord: “To stand back stage and hear the band I formed, playing songs that I helped to write with a different keyboard player was a complex set of emotions flying around.”
