DEF LEPPARD Bassist RICK SAVAGE Featured In New Episode Of SAM DUNN’s Metal Journeys

While in England, Banger TV’s Sam Dunn visits the Crookes Social club in Sheffield, a humble brick building where a plaque affixed to the outside wall tells us was the birthplace of Def Leppard. Inside, Sam meets with Def Leppard bassist Rick Savage, who regales with tales of their first gigs playing covers at this working man’s club and how it launched the career of one of the biggest rock bands in the world.

Def Leppard released their new self-titled album on October 30th, 2015. The album debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums and Top Independent Albums charts. The album also took the #5 spot on Billboard's Top Current Albums, #10 spot on the Top 200 and #9 on the Overall Digital Album Sales chart, as well as claiming 15 top 10 debuts around the world.

The album was recorded at frontman Joe Elliott's studio in Dublin, Ireland. The release features 14 tracks in total and marks their first new collection of material in seven years.
