DEMONTAGE Announce New Album Fire Of Iniquity; “Possessed Graveyard Lizards” Track Streaming

Toronto, Canada’s unique black thrashers, Demontage, announce their first full-length studio album since 2010’s The Principal Extinction on Shadow Kingdom Records. Fire Of Iniquity, an 8-song, 45-minute record, will be released on December 2nd via Belial’s Basement Recordings. This label was created by the band for the purpose of releasing Demontage’s recordings, and reflects the self-produced nature of this album.

All of the material on Fire Of Iniquity was recorded and produced by the guitarist, main vocalist, and lyricist known simply as The Lout, employing the well-acquainted influences of fellow band members Abominable Reverend and Perverted Priest. The recording was then finished off by mastering engineer Dan Lowndes (Sigh, Absu) at Resonance Sound Studio in the UK.

The artwork was done by Seth Bennett Illustration as a gatefold-sized piece that will truly command the eye in its vinyl LP edition.

Demontage are not an easily categorized band; they never have been in their 15 year history. They blend elements of black metal, traditional heavy metal, and thrash, and are steeped in irreverence, occult doomy atmospheres and progressive compositions. Having a consistent lineup for 11 of the 15 years has certainly helped the members develop their sound and get their musicianship heavy and tight.
