DESOLATE PATHWAY To Release 2-Track Single In October

Traditional doom merchants, Desolate Pathway, have unveiled plans for new material which explores a different direction to their début album Valley Of The King - a two-track single, entitled “Into The Realms” Guitarist Vince Hempstead has called it “a foot into our journey of Greek mythology.”

The A-side, entitled “Into The Realms Of Poseidon”, features acclaimed Sorrows Path guitarist Kostas Salomidis for a dose of Greek authenticity. On the B-side is a five-minute instrumental entitled "Tales Of Glaucus", a prophetic sea-god who came to the rescue of sailors and fishermen.

Along with the usual digital formats, there will be a limited amount of CDs available at the Fest Of Hades performance in Wakefield, UK. The band have stated on their Facebook page that they may look into a small vinyl run, depending on costs. In addition, their second album is on the horizon, with a tentative deadline of early 2016.
