DESTRUCTION Release “Under Attack” Video
May 3, 2016, 8 years ago
Legendary German thrashers Destruction, whose upcoming studio album Under Attack will be released on May 13th, have presented the official video clip for the title track. The partly animated clip was produced by Buntmetall (Motörhead, Saxon, Annihilator, Panzer, Cripper) in April 2016.
Mastermind Schmier states: "We keep on doing our thing. The track 'Under Attack' stands for classic Destruction trademarks and the video will sure provoke the outdated and the backseat drivers. But global unity cannot be reached with conservative and naive religious beliefs of any kind! Dear cosmopolitans, please keep your urge for freedom alive - otherwise soon there will be NO more rock 'n' roll!"

Comments bassist/singer Schemer: "I had the vision of the exploding earth with the Destruction skull as continents before we even had the title. Never has the earth and every individual been so Under Attack: whether it’s environmental issues, wars or politics and media madness, we just destroy everything that we love! The cover brings together the classical concepts of the band’s history and fits in well with the discography… but unfortunately it also represents the current state of the world today!"
