California metallers DevilDriver have recruited former Burn Halo guitarist, Neal Tiemann. DevilDriver’s Dez Fafara has posted the following via Instagram:
Earlier this year it was announced that ormer Chimaira drummer Austin D'Amond had joined DevilDriver. Austin posted the following message:
"Well here's the news I promised y'all... You ready???? Lady's and Gents, introducing the new drummer for... DevilDriver!!! Thanks everyone for all the support through my career. Without you all I would've never made it this far. I promise to give you all one hell of a performance!!! Keep shredding peeps!!! Dreams do come true!"
In October 2014, DevilDriver vocalist Dez Fafara announced that the band had parted ways with John Boecklin (drums), and Jeff Kendrick (guitar), stating: "nothing dramatic, no drag down fights, just time to move on."
Fafara continued: "As I have said previously, DevilDriver is on hiatus while I rejoin Coal Chamber for a new record release and tour. DevilDriver will be back, make no mistake of that, in 2016 with a new record which we are already writing, tours around the world and the massive pits you have all gotten used to. All in DevilDriver wish John and Jeff the best."
