DEVILDRIVER – Trust No One Hits Billboard Top 200

Celebrated California groove metal band DevilDriver released their 7th studio album, Trust No One, last week selling 12,219 copies, nearly 1,000 more in the first week than their previous effort Winter Kills. Over the last several weeks the record has garnered rave reviews, mass fan excitement and landed them on the Billboard Top 200 Chart at #43.

“This is an exciting time in the DevilDriver camp today, we all worked very hard on this record and would like to thank very much our record label Napalm Records, Mercenary Management and everyone who supported us by purchasing the record! Keep It Heavy!” - Dez Fafara

In a career spanning nearly 15 years, DevilDriver has debuted six consecutive records on Billboard’s Top 200 chart, and with Trust No One adding to their impressive catalog’s debuts it further demonstrates the band’s longevity and relevance in today’s heavy metal scene. Trust No One features ten groove driven tracks that meld memorable melodies with monster riffage, as heard on songs like “Daybreak” and “My Night Sky.” Order the new album at this location.

A new music video for the album track “Daybreak” can be found below. The video was directed by Shan Dan and features a savage performance by the band, set to the song’s anthemic, groove-laden riffs.

Following their unprecedented success of 2013’s Billboard Top 40 record Winter Kills, Devildriver spent the last three years writing and recording their most savage record to date. On their new record the band teamed up with producer and previous collaborator, Mark Lewis (Cannibal Corpse, Coal Chamber, Holy Grail) at Audio Hammer Studios.
