Witch County highmen robbers Devilment are gearing up to film the second video from their debut album, The Great And Secret Show. The band - featuring Cradle Of Filth frontman Dani Filth - has issued the following update via their webmaster:
"The video for the track 'Sanity Hits A (Perfect) Zero' promises to be a complete and utter mental breakdown on camera, full of flames and flagrant metal madness. The band, who have just penned a deal with Razamataz merchandise for a slew of summer festival designs, are also itching at the bit to be back out on stage, having been writing for the last month or two for album number deux."Guitarist David Finch, the founder and now former member of Devilment, recently spoke with David Tobin at Metal Wani about his departure from the band. He discusses his side of the story and the reasons for coming to this decision, offering details on personal relations problems in the band and how issues with touring effected him.
Finch has been detailing these feelings in more detail in a yet unscheduled release book, Death 2 Music, which he discusses later in the interview. With three musical projects currently on the go, listen to find out what will become of Devilment's main songwriter and his plans for their unreleased material.
Meanwhile, Devilment are gearing up for summer tour dates with new guitarist Sam S Junior in Finch's place. Dates are as follows:
