DREAM THEATER Keyboardist JORDAN RUDESS Featured On FreqsTV’s Prog Documentary Series Into The Machine; Video

Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess is featured in the new episode of FreqsTV’s original prog documentary series, Into the Machine.

“Jordan Rudess reflects on Dream Theater's role in the history of prog, how The Astonishing is an effort to fight the death of the album format and how technology will influence the future of progressive music, in the season finale of Into The Machine.”

Dream Theater have issued the following message to their North American fans:

"The North American tour begins in a few days, Dream Theater invites you to come to a show dressed as your favorite character from The Astonishing.
Each night, find the NOMAC in the venue lobby 30 minutes before showtime; a representative will be there to take your picture.

Following each tour leg, Dream Theater will select our Best Costume winner. Finalists selected from each tour leg will receive a gift and be entered into the Grand Prize competition, where the overall winner -- determined by fans -- will win a special Dream Theater Grand Prize Pack.

The band looks forward to seeing many of you dressed as Astonishing characters in the coming weeks!"

The new video below takes you behind the scenes of Dream Theater's The Astonishing Live, coming to a city near you. Watch the team at Lucion Media help Dream Theater re-create The Astonishing Live every night.

Dream Theater's new album, The Astonishing, a character-based two-act double album that tells the story of dystopian future in which only machines can create music, was released on January 29th. An official trailer, as well as a full album stream, can be found below:
