DUSKMACHINE Celebrate 10 Anniversary - "It Kinda Sneaked Up On Us And We're Pleasantly Surprised"

DuskMachine, featuring drummer Randy Black (Primal Fear, Annihilator), bassist Russ Bergquist (Annihilator), guitarist Nikolai Wurk, and vocalist Joe Comeau (Annihilator, Overkill, Liege Lord) have issued the following update:

"Not many people realise it but DuskMachine has recently passed the 10 year mark of being in existence. Kinda sneaked up on us and we were pleasantly surprised. Here's to another 10 years and beyond. Have a little look at our past by checking out Randy Black performing a song from our first CD taken from his drum instructional DVD, The Black Book - An Introduction To Creative Metal Drumming. Cheers and see you at some DM show in 2015!"

DuskMachine released their latest album (self-titled) on July 26th, 2013 via Massacre Records. They have released a lyric video for the title track, which can be viewed below.

Video design and production by Andy Clark at FreerangeFX.

Song info from Joe Comeau: "This song is the title track to the latest DuskMachine release. It explains the origin of the DuskMachine which was created by a scientist for the good of mankind. It's creation sparked the townspeople to lash out in fear due to their ignorance of technology, but this only caused the machine to become enraged and retaliate. The story to be continued...."

The artwork for the new album was designed and painted by artist Eliran Kantor, best known for his amazing work for bands such as Testament, Sodom and Hatebreed. The idea behind the concept-art was to create an assembly manual for the DuskMachine, hand-drawn by a mad scientist.
