EAT THE GUN Debut "Howlinwood" Video

Münster, Germany-based rockers Eat The Gun will release their fifth album, Howlinwood, on August 25th in Europe, and September 4th in North America, via SPV/Steamhammer on digipak, LP and download and will once again collaborate with label partner Steamhammer/SPV.

The band have just released a new video for the title track. Singer and guitar player Hendrik Wippermann says about the video: “Yes! We’re super stoked to present you the brand new ‘Howlinwood’ video! Kudos to our director Bernd Levay , we had a fantastic time with him during the shoot in Austria! We hope, you like the clip!”

The first single, "How Does It Feel”, was released on July 24th. Singer and guitarist Hendrik Wippermann says about the song: ““How Does It Feel?“ is certainly one of our favourites from our new album Howlinwood. It’s great fun playing it and we feel it’s the right song for the summertime – let’s cross our fingers that it’ll stay as hot and sunny as it is right now!"

The musical reorientation on the 2013 release Stripped To The Bone was game-changing for Eat The Gun and rewarded by the European music press with tremendous praise of album and band. Starting 2015 the band was literally living in the studio, working nonstop to finish the songs for the much anticipated new album. Band and label were once again able to bring in Stephan ‘Gudze‘ Hinz (H-Blockx) as producer, who already in 2013 helped the band redefine their sound. On the song "Electric Life" the band could win Tencious D / Kyle Gass Band guitar player John Konesky for a guest appearance.
