ENTOMBED Perform Sold Out Show On Board Silja Galaxy For Baten Cruise Series; Video Streaming

Entombed performed to a sold out audience last weekend on board Silja Galaxy as part of Close-Up Magazine's ongoing Baten Cruise series. The show reunited original guitarists Alex Hellid and Uffe Cederland with orginal drummer Nicke Andersson for the first time on stage since 1997. Video of the performance was filmed by journalist Nalle Osterman; footage that is now available for fans around the globe to view.

RED Music Label Coordinator Ben Burstein was in attendance. "With a horde of hungry metal heads at my back, I anxiously awaited the single reason I found myself 4,000 miles from home. The curtains opened to a drum set with one word inscribed on each bass drum - Death Metal. I knew instantly this was going to be huge!"

Continuing Burstein notes, “The band took the stage and lay waste to a boatful of lucky fans. I could feel the whirling masses behind me losing their minds. I screamed myself hoarse to “Sinners Bleed” and “Stranger Aeons”. The experience was beyond unforgettable. It was eternal.”

Guitarist Alex Hellid comments, “So what do we do before our big date in Malmo on November 12th? Back in the day, we would book a club and call ourselves Deb Motne or Dog Vomit and play a secret show. This time, people travelled from all over the world for our warm up gig. The Close-Up Magazine 25th Anniversary just felt like the appropriate occasion, even though we certainly jumped straight into the fire. It ended up being the perfect thing to do aAnd we had a blast. We are now properly warmed up."

Entombed appear next at the special dual performance at Malmo Live in Sweden on November 12th. The band have an active PledgeMusic campaign for the event allowing fans to be a part of the memorable show. The unique concert is based entirely on the band's acclaimed 1991 album Clandestine.

Fans can view the PledgeMusic campaign here. Tickets for the performance at Malmo Live are available here.
