EXMORTUS Premier "Metal Is King" Video
September 23, 2014, 10 years ago
Raise your fists (and swords) to the rousing track "Metal Is King" by shredders Exmortus, which provides the soundtrack to the group's latest music video. Taken from their Prosthetic debut, Slave To The Sword, the song features a prominent message echoed by drummer Mario Moreno: "Let it be known that METAL IS KING!"
Moreno reveals that the new video was shot in a small warehouse in the band's hometown of Whittier, CA - "a straightforward video for a straightforward song," he says.
In addition to a heavy touring schedule this year, the band also made time to appear in a nationally-aired commercial for Virgin Mobile and perform a shred-tastic rendition of the national anthem at a minor league baseball game!
Catch the road warriors on one of their remaining dates supporting Arsis, listed below. Exmortus will then headline a series of shows as they make their way back to the west coast in time for their featured appearance at Slipknot's three-day music festival, Knotfest, alongside Anthrax, Testament, Carcass and many more.
