After having performed at this years 70,000 Tons Of Metal cruise earlier this year, Greek melodic metallers Firewind are now announcing a return to European stages, which sees the group led by guitar-wizard and Ozzy Osbourne band member Gus G. play some summer festival events as well as a European/UK tour in November, featuring a best-of set from the band’s rich catalogue.

Firewind are currently working on new material for an upcoming studio album release, expected later in the year.

As previously reported, Gus G. will embark on a short North American headlining tour launching tonight. A video trailer supporting the upcoming trek can be found below.

Says Gus G.: "I'm stoked to announce that I'll be joined by some amazing musicians on my upcoming North American dates. Jeramie Klinger (drums) and Taylor Nordberg (bass), both from The Absence and on vocals we have the one and the only Rob Rock of Impelliteri! Rob and I have been friends for many years, we toured Japan back in 2004 and have also co-written the title track of Rob's solo album, Garden Of Chaos, a few years ago. I couldn't be happier that we will finally tour together again. This tour just got more special. The shows will be intimate, packed & loud. Make sure not to miss it.
