On the 40th anniversary of their mega-hit “Slow Ride,” the eight-time Gold-selling Foghat is recording a new studio album for the first time since 2010. Under The Influence features a brand new set of original songs from the blues rock band, plus a very special bonus track: a new recording of “Slow Ride” in honor of original Foghat members Lonesome Dave and Rod Price! "After 40 something years this band is still rockin’ and we don’t plan to stop," says Foghat. "Our new album, Under The Influence is about 50% done and since our 2015 tour is coming to an end, we are going back into the studio to finish the project. We are still a ‘work in progress’, writing and recording, and plan to be until the day we depart this earth! And we are about to release this new album with lots of special guests and some big surprises.
