June 20, 2016, 8 years ago
The demons from Queens, New York - Footage Of A Yeti - are back.
Bonded by passion for creating art with an assured, take no prisoners attitude towards doing whatever the fuck they want, the members of Footage Of A Yeti collectively go by the five fingers make a fist approach.
Known for their crushing live performances and boundless energy, members Mike Pellegrino (vocals), Vincent Heffron (guitar), Brian Ginzberg (drums), Jesse Heimowitz (bass) and John Alaimo (guitar) have shared stages with the likes of Traitors, Whitechapel, Rings Of Saturn, Oceano - just to name a few.
On the heels of their 2013 debut EP The Prophecy, along with a solid amount of touring under their belts, Footage Of A Yeti entered Westfall Recording Co. located in Farmingdale, New York back in January 2016 to begin tracking new material, which in turn birthed the band’s new banger of a single “Hand Of God”.
Mixed and mastered by Kevin Antreassian of Backroom Studios (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Foxy Shazam, Meek Is Murder), the Point Of View 360° video for “Hand Of God” directed by Scott Rudd (Fear Factory, Fit For An Autopsy, Fallujah) just premiered, check it out below.
Says guitarist John Alaimo, “‘Hand Of God’ is the birth of a new sound for us. We really took our time with the writing process and refused to compromise until we had a product that we were truly proud to release. We're excited to get out on the road and share what we've been working on with everyone."
