Former AC/DC Drummer’s “Dirty Deeds” Sees Classic Track Back On The Charts!

Billboard is reporting that former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd’s attempting to procure murder charge (which was shortly dropped, although a threatening to kill charge, as well as drugs possessions charges still stand) have breathed life into a band classic as "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" was given a sales boost for digital downloads in the week ending November 9th, according to data from Nielsen SoundScan. The song sold just under 2,000 downloads, most likely due to bonus airplay in the US as the Rudd story broke and the lyrical content of the track somewhat tying into the news!

Controversy aside, AC/DC's new album, Rock Or Bust, is the band’s first studio album in six years and features 11 new tracks. It will be released by Columbia Records in North American on December 2nd. Rock Or Bust follows the immensely successful Black Ice album, which debuted at #1 in 31 countries upon its release in 2008 and has gone on to sell nearly 8 million copies worldwide. Rock Or Bust was recorded in spring 2014 at Bryan Adams' Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, BC and finds AC/DC once again working with producer Brendan O’Brien and mixer Mike Fraser.
