Former BAD CO. Guitarist DAVE ‘BUCKET’ COLWELL Launches New Band And Album Release With Pledge Music

Dave ‘Bucket’ Colwell, former guitarist with British hard rock super-group Bad Company and Humbel Pie, has teamed up with fan-driven platform Pledge Music to launch the release of 20 Good Summers, a brand new album by his new classic/blues rock band Buckets Rebel Heart.

After his last solo album, 2008’s Guitars, Beers & Tears featuring several star guest performers, this new album 20 Good Summers is a collection of cohesive songs from the brand new outfit to be produced by Grammy-nominated rock legend Chris Tsangarides.

Alongside Colwell on lead-guitar, the lineup is completed by The Voice finalist Adam Barron (lead vocals), Ross McEwen (guitar), Tom Swann (bass) and Paul ‘Taff’ Edwards (drums and co-writer).

The album is set for a digital and physical outing via the band’s newly launched Pledge Music campaign in September, with plans for a UK tour afoot post-release.

Dave ‘Bucket’ Colwell joined Bad Company in 1990 for the Holy Water tour, which would go on to become one of the top five highest grossing tours of 1991. He also contributed to 1992's gold-selling Here Comes Trouble album, 1995's Company Of Strangers in support of which the band toured with Bon Jovi, and 1996's Stories Told & Untold.

Prior to Bad Co., Bucket has also enjoyed tenures as guitarist for such bands as Humble Pie, ASAP, Samson, The Eastenders and FM.

On the new Pledge campaign, he comments: “I’m very lucky to have music fans, loyal and interested in what I have to offer”.

Pledges for the album, signed CDs and exclusive merchandise can now be made via PledgeMusic at this location.
