Former DIO Guitarist Rowan Robertson Joins DC4
August 9, 2006, 18 years ago
L.A. based hard rock band DC4 are proud to announce the addition of Rowan Robertson to a lineup that also includes brothers Jeff Duncan (ARMORED SAINT, ODIN) on lead vocals and guitar, Shawn Duncan (Odin) on drums and Matt Duncan on bass.
Rowan is best known for nailing down the lead guitar spot with DIO in 1989 at the age of 17. During his stint with Dio he appeared on the Lock Up The Wolves album, toured with the band and solidified himself as one of the most gifted young shredders on the planet.
According to Jeff the early results for the new lineup are all positive. "From the first time we all played together I felt it was going to be brutal," he says. "DC4 is more powerful then ever."
Says Shawn, "The band sounds fuckin' HUGE with Rowan. I cannot tell everyone how excited we are!"
Of his addition to DC4, Rowan adds, "This is exactly what I've been looking for. A great hard rockin' band with killer songs. Mind your ears people!"
In the next few weeks DC4 will be working on dates in the Southern California area to show what the new lineup is capable of. To check out DC4's music and stay current on further developments, you can visit the official DC4 myspace page at www.myspace.com/dc4duncan.
