Former ICED EARTH Frontman MATT BARLOW To Guest On New ARTIZAN Album

Florida based melodic metal act, Artizan, have announced that Matt Barlow (Ashes Of Ares, ex-Iced Earth) will perform guest vocals on the forthcoming sci-fi metal opera project, The Furthest Reaches. Matt plays the role of The Keepers, an alien race summoned back to Earth after sleeping for over a millennium.

Artizan founder Ty Tammeus states, "Matt did such a phenomenal job on our last release, Ancestral Energy, there wasn't any question who I would want to play the role of The Keepers. This is a classic performance from him. Matt sounds better than ever!"

The Furthest Reaches is slated for an April 24th release via Pure Steel Records, coinciding with their performance at the Keep it True festival in Germany. Complete album details to be revealed soon.
