Former Members Of MORBID ANGEL, GOD FORBID Perform "Symphony Of Destruction" In Tribute To NICK MENZA

On May 24th at The Whiskey A Go Go in West Hollywood, California, Stew Herrera from KLOS introduced former Morbid Angel drummer Tim Yeung and ex-God Forbid guitarist Doc Coyle, along with bassist Ben White and vocalist / guitarist Howie Simon on stage as part of The Ultimate Jam Night.

The quartet proceeded to pay tribute to late Megadeth drummer Nick Menza with a performance of Symphony Of Destruction. California Rock News captured it all in the video below.

Three days earlier on May 21st, Nick Menza collapsed on stage, suffering a heart attack after performing just three songs with Ohm at The Baked Potato in Studio City, California and was pronounced dead upon arrival at hospital. He was 51 years old.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner said Menza died of natural causes. The cause of Menza's death was listed as hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
