Former SLAYER Drummer DAVE LOMBARDO Talks Latest PHILM Album, Diverse Influences, Early Years In Cuba And More In New Audio Interview

Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Philm) will certainly go down as one of the most precise, powerful and influential heavy metal drummers the genre has ever seen.  And it all started out for young Lombardo in Cuba to the present day with over thirty-plus years gaining the pioneering respect of millions of fans and influencing scores of drummers around the world with his lightning quick hands and feet. Dave Lombardo, as WVOX Metal Mayhem host Matthew O'Shaughnessy found out fast is also one of the most humble and down-to-earth guys. O'Shaughnessy spoke last week with Lombardo about Philm's latest album, Fire From The Evening Sun, recent drum workshops in Italy and The Netherlands, his wide and diverse musical influences, his personal advice to young and up-and-coming drummers, his legacy and much more.
