France's ORAKLE Sign With Apathia Records; New Album Due In May
January 12, 2015, 9 years ago
After two albums released in 2005 (Uni aux cimes) and 2008 (Tourments & Perdition), and a lot of shows, including one at the Hellfest 2009, Orakle disappeared from the scene for five long years... 2015 will mark the return of the french metallers, with a long-awaited third album and a signing to Apathia Records.
Entitled Éclats, this new chapter was produced by the band, mixed at Henosis studios by Frédéric Gervais and mastered by Bruno Gruel / Elektra Mastering.
Many years of work have been necessary for Orakle to achieve a very personal and audacious album, where the sophisticated black metal of the beginning merges with a tortuous and experimental metal (Virus, Leprous, Hail Spirit Noir), but also in a progressive rock with almost pop notes and exclusively french lyrics.
Éclats will be released on May 11th via Apathia Records. Pre-orders will start on February 16th. Stay tuned for further details.
