Frontiers Records In Lawsuit Against RITCHIE BLACKMORE Over Botched BLACKMORE’S NIGHT Promotion

According to the New York Post, Frontiers Records has taken former Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore to Manhattan federal court with a lawsuit claiming that he did not properly help promote Blackmore’s Night’s 2015 release, All Our Yesterdays.

Frontiers, which paid Blackmore a $220,000 advance, is seeking a minimum of $150,000 in damages.

A lawyer for Blackmore denied the allegations, calling them “ludicrous.”

Frontiers says that during a summer tour to promote the album, Blackmore blew off dozens of media appearances including six German TV interviews and 25 to 30 other outlets.
