Self-described "Canadian bastardized grindcore" troupe Fuck The Facts released their first independently produced LP, Desire Will Rot, last summer, so when they swung through Toronto in January, vocalist Melanie Mongeon and guitarist Topon Das stopped by Exclaim! TV's Aggressive Tendencies to discuss the landmark album.

In the interview, which can be seen below, Mongeon asserts that the album was entirely DIY - from the artwork to the production - and that they experienced a huge amount of support from fans throughout the oft-gruelling process. Their hard work is paying off, though: Desire Will Rot received a Juno nomination for Heavy Metal Album of the Year. Further details can be found here.
